Marassa Duo is available for:

CONCERTS: Concerts may be an hour to two hours in length featuring original works, original arrangements, traditional music and contemporary compositions featuring an array of percussion instruments such as the batá, marimba, steel pan, vibraphone, brekete, talking drums and congas. 

CLINICS & MASTER CLASSES: Clinic topics may include: concepts in writing/arranging using the duo’s repertoire as examples with attention to cultural awareness in combining musical traditions; percussion repertoire and pedagogy; technical topics on a wide array of percussion instruments; and musical entrepreneurship.

FESTIVAL APPEARANCES: The duo welcomes opportunities to appear on festivals to share its music, not only with audiences, but also with other performing ensembles. In addition to concert and clinic scenarios, the duo will often prepare ensemble programming to perform with other artists appearing on the event.

RESIDENCIES: Residencies are flexible in length and design and may include any combination of the activities listed above.

OTHER EVENTS: The group is quite flexible and welcomes opportunities to tailor its output for your event. The duo presents instrument demonstrations and musical histories for young audiences. The group also invites opportunities for radio, TV and film projects.
